Coffee with the Savior is the title of our study based on the words of Jeremiah 29:12-13 . “Then you will call upon Me
and come and pray to Me, and I will hear you. You will seek Me and find Me, when you see Me with all your
heart.” The purpose of this study is to help you see Jesus as your best friend. You will discover the many ways He
shares our burdens, forgives our wongdoing and redeems us forever. You will also learn more about one of God’s
chosen people, Moses, and his relationship to God. Join us for “Coffee with the Savior” and study the Scriptures with
your sisters in Christ.

What is LWML?

LWML stands for the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and is the official women's auxiliary of the The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS).

Our Purpose:

The LWML seeks to develop and maintain a greater mission consciousness among women of the LCMS through education, inspiration, and service.

A major emphasis is the support of mission and ministry throughout the world by means of mite box offerings. These mite box offerings have funded tens of millions of dollars in mission grants since the organization's inception in 1942.

Local LWML:

Our local LWML meets monthly for a dinner meeting on the third Monday of each month, September - June. We take turns opening our homes to these gatherings.

We sponsor our Annual Women's Tea in the spring and our annual "Make It, Bake It, Sew It, Grow It" event in the fall.

Each year we have found a focus for our support. In years past we have helped a local women's shelter for pregnant woment, "Toby's House". We have also given funds to many Lutheran Mission groups (Lutheran Braille Workers, The Lutheran Hour, Lutheran Bible Translators). We have purchased linens for the altar, paraments, albs.

We collect loose change in our mite boxes and used stamps for our District Cross Cultural Mission Grants.

Membership:

There are no dues, no membership cards, only your desire to participate in our activities.
