Member Login/Logout Instructions

If you are a member of Faith Lutheran Capo Beach and have provided an email to us, you should have already received your login information. This login information includes a username and password, which can be used to access the Member Area. The Member Area is restricted for viewing by individuals who are either a member of our congregation or have been approved by our webmaster for viewing member information.

If you do not have any login information or have forgotten this information, please send an email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it requesting a user account for the Member Area and we will contact you as soon as possible.

If you have received a username and password from the church, please follow these steps to log into the member area, where you can access contact information for our church members:

1) Once at the church's website (http://www.faithcapo.com), you have several ways to access the login page:

• Hover over the top menu item "Connect" on the home page, and when the drop down list appears, click on "Member Login/Logout", which shows you this page. Click on the "Login" button in the upper right hand corner
• Scroll down to the very bottom and to the right until you see the following link: "Member Login Here"
• Enter this url into your browser's address bar for the login page: http://www.faithcapo.com/component/user/login.html

All of these options will bring you to the member login page where you can enter your username and password.

2) At the member login page, please enter the following information and click the "Login" button when finished:

• Username: Type the username provided to you in the email into the white box and press "Tab". This will take you to the next field, the Password field.
• Password: Type the password provided to you in the email into the white box and press "Tab". This will take you to the next field, "Remember Me".
• Remember Me: This checkbox, when checked, will remember your username and password on the computer you are using to login. No one else can see this saved information. If you do not want to save this information, don't check this box. Saving your username and password will allow browsers to auto fill in this information the next time you visit this page.
• Login: Click this button to be redirected to the Member Area. If you have entered an incorrect username and/or password, you will see an error message instead of being redirected.

3) Troubleshooting:

• If you are having trouble with the login page, please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it m and we will respond to you as soon as possible
• If you have forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Your Password" link, enter your email and click "Submit". We will respond to you as soon as possible with a new password.
• IF you have forgotten your username, click the "Forgot Your Username" link, enter your email and click "Submit". We will respond to you as soon as possible with your username.

4) Viewing the Member Area:

After a successful login, you will find a "Member" option now under the "Connect" top menu. Click on this new item to find member information.

5) Logging Out

To log out of the site, click the Connect > Member Login/Logout menu item again. At the top right of this page is a "Logout" button. It is a good idea to always log out of your member account to protect member privacy.
