At the time of Harvest, we will present ourselves to our master as a barren tree with no good fruit. Yet we have a perfect vine-dresser who intercedes for us. He waters us and nourishes us and because of him and his work, we bear much fruit in him. While we were yet barren in our sin, Christ came and became fruit for us by hanging himself upon a barren tree so that God might see Christ alone.
