As people adept in sinful ways, we have found yet another way to twist God’s good gifts and turn them into evil. We take the good Law of God and twist it to puff ourselves up and leave others in the dirt. This is the way of the world, yet the way of Christ is humility rather than ambition. He came to save, not the ones lifted up, but the ones cast down. So, if we boast, we boast only in our weakness and Christ’s goodness to us.
